合成生物进化研究中心围绕“生物适应性与进化潜能的精确设计”关键科学问题,聚焦适应性景观解码、基因型-表型映射、进化规律嵌入的人工智能、进化医学等前沿领域,开展定量合成生物学、进化生物学、生物信息学与人工智能交叉研究,从理解进化、预测进化到对抗进化和拓展进化,推动进化生物学理论创新与设计生命科学突破,中心已经凝聚了来自海内外的十余名优秀青年P1,近200名科研工作者。
The Center for Synthetic Biology and Evolution addresses the fundamental challenge of Precisely designing biological adaptations and evolvability. The center focuses on decoding the adaptive landscape, genotype-phenotype mapping, artificial intelligence (AI) embedded with evolutionary principles, and evolutionary medicine. By integrating quantitative synthetic biology, evolutionary biology, bioinformatics, and AI, the Center aims to understand, forecast, and even steer evolution. Our goal is to generate new evolutionary biology theories and engineered life breakthroughs. The Center has already brought together dozens of outstanding Principal Investigators and nearly 200 researchers from around the world.
