Bo Wang is an associate professor in Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is also a Principal Investigator of the Semi-Artificial Photosynthetic Cell Foundries Laboratory, Center for Synthetic Biochemistry. Dr. Wang received his Master’s degree in Tsinghua University, and Ph.D. in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was also a Postdoc fellow in Department of Chemistry in CUHK before joining the faculty at SIAT. His works were published in Energy Environ. Sci., Adv. Energy Mater., Nano Energy, Nanoscale, J. Mater. Chem. A, Appl. Catal. B-Environ. and other influential journals. Major research directions include semi-artificial photosynthesis, microbial living functional materials, environmental remediation and photoelectrochemical energy conversion.
