Wanze Chen is a professor at Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Chen received his Ph.D. from Xiamen University, China. He then studied in the Laboratory of Systems Biology and Genetics as a postdoc in EPFL in Switzerland before joining the faculty at SIAT.  

The research focus of Dr. Chen’s lab is to understand and further program the fate of stem cells. Driven by this primary interest, they actively develop and utilize multidisciplinary technologies to address the methodologically inaccessible questions.
