Dr. Wanwipa Vongsangnak is the Acting Dean of Kasetsart University International College. She holds a Ph.D. in Bioscience (Bioengineering) from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden (2009), an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics (First Honors) from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), Thailand (2006), and a B.Sc. in Biotechnology (First Honors) from Mahidol University, Thailand (2004). With a distinguished career spanning multiple institutions, Dr. Vongsangnak has served as an Associate Professor at Kasetsart University (Thailand) and Soochow University (China). She has also held visiting professorships at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and KMUTT. Her research experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Chalmers University of Technology and a research assistant position at the Technical University of Denmark. Her research focuses on bioinformatics techniques & biological sequence analysis, multi-omics integration (genomics, transcriptomics, etc.), biological network analysis (graph theory, topology), comparative genomics & transcriptomics, and molecular biology & DNA microarray technologies.
