Dr.Jian Li graduated from Technische Universit ä t Berlin in September 2013 with a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat., supervised by Peter Neubauer); Subsequently, from December 2013 to August 2017, I conducted postdoctoral research at Northwestern University in the United States (co supervised by Michael C. Jewett); Joined the School of Materials Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University in September 2017 as an assistant professor (Tenure Track), researcher, and doctoral supervisor. Appointed as Associate Professor (Tenured) from July 2024. Received funding from the Shanghai Pujiang Talent Plan (Class A) in 2018. Received the honorary title of "Outstanding Teacher" from ShanghaiTech University in 2020 and 2024.Currently, serving as a member of the Youth Work Committee of the Chinese Society of Bioengineering, a director of the Shanghai Society of Bioengineering, and a member of the Synthetic Biology Professional Committee of the Shanghai Society of Bioengineering. Served as Associate Editor of Frontiers in Natural Products and Youth Editorial Board Member of Food Innovation and Advances.
