Zheng Hu, PhD and Professor, obtained B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2010 and obtained Ph.D. in Genetics from Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015. Dr. Hu completed postdoctoral training at Stanford University School of Medicine during 2015-2020. Dr. Hu’s research is focusing on understanding the processes and mechanisms of somatic evolution in normal tissue and cancer development by integrating approaches in genomics, computational biology and evolutionary biology. Dr. Hu’s group aims to exploit principles in clonal evolution to guide prevention and treatment of cancers.
