继第三届合成生物学青年学者论坛在上海召开之后，由深圳市合成生物学协会、中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院与深圳市第二人民医院（深圳大学第一附属医院)主办的第四届论坛将于2018年7月7-8日在深圳会展中心召开。

        合成生物学发展迄今，在生质能源、生物材料、医疗技术以及探索生命规律等生命科学和技术的诸多领域取得了瞩目的成就。近年来，合成生物学在我国也得到了迅猛发展，其研究内容也不断地与化学、物理和工程学等学科交叉融合，有力地推动了我国相关生物技术的革新，已经涌现出一批高水平的研究团队和创新成果。作为合成生物学领域的中坚力量和生力军，一群青年学者于2015年发起组织的“合成生物学青年学者论坛”，着眼于当前最前沿的合成生物科学理论与技术，紧密链接世界顶尖水平的合成生物学研究，为国内外志同道合的青年合成生物学研究者提供一个交流合作的平台。

        本次论坛将延续往届论坛的传统，组委会将从提交的会议报告摘要中选择优秀青年科学家作专题报告，同时将邀请国内外知名科学家作大会报告。论坛将加强墙报交流环节，并评选出优秀墙报奖，将为研究生和本科生提供充分展示和交流的机会，设置优秀墙报奖等奖励。热诚欢迎国内外青年科学家与研究生参会。本届会议免收注册费。在线注册及提交会议报告摘要/墙报的截止日期为2018年6月15日。

        With the success of the 3rd Synthetic Biology Young Scholar Forum held last year at Shanghai, the forum this year, hosted by Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Shenzhen Synthetic Biology Association, will take place at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center from July 7th to July 8th, 2018.

       The development of synthetic biology has made remarkable achievements in many fields of life sciences and technologies such as bio-energy, bio-materials, medical technology and exploration of the law of life. In recent years, synthetic biology is also developing rapidly in China. Its research area has steadily evolved and integrated with other disciplines such as chemistry, physics and engineering that further promoted new innovations in related biotechnologies in China. A good number of high levels research teams and innovation results have emerged. A group of young scholars that was leading the disruptive innovations in the field of synthetic biology initiated and organized the "Synthetic Biology Young Scholar Forum" back in 2015. Focusing on the most cutting-edge synthetic biological science theories and technology that is current with the world's leading Synthetic Biology research, the forum provided an open platform for exchanges and collaborations between like-minded young synthetic biology researchers at home and abroad.

      As previous forum's tradition, the organizng commitee will select young scientits to make session report, based on their submitted conference report. Meanwhile, we will invite local and international well-known scientists as keynote speakers. We will encourage and increase communication during poster session, and set poster awards for graduates students and undergraduates. We warmly welcome young scientists and graduate students from both China and abroad to attend the forum. No registration fee will be charged to participants. Online registration and abstracts must be submitted by June 15st, 2018.
