Dr. Hanjie Li obtained his PhD from Xiamen University in 2014 under the supervision of Dr. Jiahuai Han. From 2016 to 2020, he was a post-doc fellow in the Department of Immunology in Weizmann Institute of Science. During his post-doc, Dr. Li developed and applied state-of-the-art single cell technology to dissect the interaction between tumor and the immune system. He is the recipients of many prestigious awards, including Humboldt Fellowship and Marie Curie Fellowship. Dr. Li has published in many top journals including, Cell, Cell Research, Cell Reports, Cellular & Molecular Immunology, Journal of Immunology, etc.

The Li Lab will continue to integrate single cell genomics, computational biology, cellular and molecular biology to unveil the role of the immune system in health and disease. Meanwhile, the lab is also dedicated to rationally design and engineer immune cells, molecules, and pathways for the purpose of immune-based diagnosis and therapeutics.
