Bacterial-based cancer therapy

Collaborating with Liu Lab at iSynBio and other experimental labs, we are investigating how engineered bacteria can eliminate tumors in some mice but not others with the same genetic background. We are focusing on how efficient the bacteria can kill cancer cells on their own, and how the bacteria induce corresponding immune cells to kill cancer cells.
